The weather
was really varied during Christmas Break. We drove to Galveston in a
rain storm. Notice the cloud picts below- the cold front arrived Christmas
Eve. The weatherman forecast snow but... we all know about weather forecasts
and
reliability. Dan came back in from outside and said he saw 2 snowflakes
on Christmas eve morning. So we assumed that was the forecasted snow.
That evening we were opening gifts and it started to snow and then we
had
flurries. When we left we drove back to Galveston in a snowstorm. Needless
to say it was pretty scary (for me anyway) Galveston doesn't have any
kind of snow removal equipment so we followed the tracks to the park. Christmas
Day things cleared up but the snow stayed for 2 more days- By the time
we left it was back to sweater weather. Check out the picts. of the Sandhill
Cranes in the Days After Christmas picts. |
